I am using a desktop computer. I have 1 software with hardware lock. The lock is HASP on parallel port. Now I want to use a laptop. But there's no parallel port on the laptop. So I used a cable, but it's not working. Please help me, any ideas? The software is Tata EX next generation 1.5 account software.

The E.X. software was suddenly encountered with a problem. It began the E.X. logo and suddenly showing an error report that contained: "AppName: exss.exe/AppVer: 1.0.0.0/ModName: mfc40.dll
ModVer: 4.1.0.6140/Offset: 000170a6". We got so much trouble caused by this error. I have no idea how to fix this error. Any suggestion would be thankful.
